Data You Give Us Directly
Search Queries
A search term entered into a sponsored search box is sent directly to the third-party company that operates that tool. The provider processes the query and supplies its result. Calhoun County Warrant Records does not retain or log those search terms on its own systems.
Messages and Contact Submissions
If a visitor sends an email, the message is retained as needed to respond. It is not shared outside the organization unless disclosure is required by law.
Data We Gather Automatically
Standard server and analytics logs may receive technical facts when a page loads:
- the device's IP address
- browser name and version
- device type and operating system
- pages viewed and time spent
- the referring website, when available
- the time of each request
Cookies and Analytics
Cookies are small device files that help measure traffic, page use, and site performance. Analytics providers may combine visits into reports. Browser controls can block or delete cookies, though some functions may then work differently.
What We Do With This Data
Collected data may be used for these operating purposes:
- maintaining reliable and fast website access
- sending a search request to the selected partner
- measuring which reference pages are useful
- finding and correcting technical errors
- displaying ads that may reflect visitor interests
No Warrant Data on File
Calhoun County Warrant Records does not host, compile, maintain, or sell a database of warrants or personal warrant details. It publishes civic directions to the Calhoun County Sheriff, Circuit Clerk, Circuit and District Courts, and municipal courts. Alabama offers no single public statewide warrant roster. Visitor information is not assembled into a consumer report, and this site is not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act.
Third-Party Search Partners
Outside businesses power the sponsored search boxes. A partner's privacy policy, retention rules, and sharing practices apply to information entered in its tool. Calhoun County Warrant Records does not control those practices. Review the provider's terms before sending a query.
Links to Other Websites
Links may lead to Alabama courts, the Calhoun County Sheriff, municipal agencies, or outside search services. Once a visitor follows a link, the destination's privacy rules govern. Read them before providing personal details.
Advertising providers may use their own systems to measure activity across websites and tailor ads. That processing does not occur within the Calhoun County Warrant Records database.
Who Might See Your Data
Personal information is not sold. Limited information may be processed by:
- the search provider that receives a submitted query
- analytics companies that measure traffic and performance
- advertising networks that deliver page advertisements
- a government or law-enforcement body acting under a valid legal demand
How We Protect Your Data
Reasonable and commonly used safeguards protect the information in our control. No internet service can guarantee perfect security, however, so Calhoun County Warrant Records cannot promise that unauthorized access or a breach will never occur.
Users Under 18
This website is intended for adults. It does not knowingly seek personal data from anyone under 18. If information from a minor is identified, a deletion request may be made through the available site contact route.
Your Data Rights
Rights can depend on the law that applies where a visitor lives. A person may ask for access to personal data held by Calhoun County Warrant Records, seek a correction, request deletion, or object to certain processing. These requests remain subject to applicable limits.
The Alabama Open Records Act, Ala. Code § 36-12-40, governs access to official public writings and does not turn this private website into a government records custodian. Official Calhoun County court requests remain subject to court rules and protections for juvenile, youthful-offender, sealed, expunged, and victim information.
Updates to This Policy
This policy may change as services or legal duties change. A revised version will be posted here, and the effective date will be updated so visitors can identify the current terms.
